The Chris Satchel is a pattern for a soft crossbody style bag designed to be gender-neutral and spacious enough to carry a small tablet with you.

The pattern was designed for quilting cotton but you could adapt it for cork or vinyl and can be made on a domestic sewing machine! Don't hesitate to experiment with Harris Tweed, Waxed Canvas, or Denim to make this bag your very own!

The bag has a covered device pocket on the front, with an upside-down zipper pocket for your keys or mask that slips behind a strap. The back of the bag is completed plain, allowing you to add embroidery, heat transfer vinyl cutouts or feature a unique panel. The bag closes with a top zipper and has a large slip pocket and a uniquely constructed zipper pocket that is also used for turning your bag right side out.

The Chris Satchel is a design made in memory of my brother, Chris, who passed away Feb 9, 2021. He was a technology guru that always had his device with him, as well as a number of medical supplies. As a man who was not afraid to carry a bag, he always carried a custom UhOh Creation, and loved whatever I came out with next. He will is deeply missed.
