2nd Annual Bag Makers Boot Camp - Purple KATZ Quilting - Sylvan Lake, AB
Sold out event - this is an annual get together where we work our butts off all weekend long making bags and doing skill builders related to bag making! November 23-24, 2019 - Bow Bench Retreat - Carseland, AB
We created the John Duffel bag at Bow Bench Retreat! I taught my tips and tricks to making a duffel bag with great attendees and amazing fabrics brought by the students. What a great time!
What an incredible time, sewing with friends, socializing and making new projects and the Purple KATZ Quilting Fall Fling retreat in Sylvan Lake, AB. I did a presentation on the Friday night, showcasing my new patterns and some of the new projects I've worked on over the last year - and Tracy got this very energetic photo of me LOL:

I attended the Threads of Success conference at Quilt Market in Houston, Texas! I met some absolutely incredible people - some well known in the quilting industry, and some that are just amazing new friends - right Mitzi?!!! I learned from Cheryl Sleboda, Ebony Love, Tula Pink and so many others.... One of the best presenters ever was Charlotte Angotti - incredible to listen to that woman! I then got to check out the Market show floor and see the booths and people at Brother, Janome, Northcott, Freespirit, Windham fabrics and met with MJ Kinman, Brett Lewis, the Cowboy Quilter - Dale and so many others! Even got to hang out with my good friend Tracy of Purple KATZ Quilting!
